Gerrard and Beverly have been working in ministry together for over 15 years with most of their focus on helping those who have been snared by Satan through drug and substance abuse, as well as helping marriages that have suffered from Satan's influence. Their enlightenment of the “Kingdom Agenda” has propelled them into the study of the “fivefold ministry” as it relates to Christian Governmental order in God’s kingdom.

In 2009 God blessed them to start 2nd Half Ministry. This ministry has allowed them to go to several churches started by his father, the late Suffragan Bishop Robert J. Deas, in the 70's and 80's, and give them fresh water and relevant words to encourage and strengthen them on their journey.

2nd Half Ministry focuses on end time messages relating to Kingdom principals. Their confidence in the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ admonishes them to preached with power and demonstration centering on being ready when He returns.

In November of 2024 Beverly and Gerrard will be celebrating 43 years of marriage. God has blessed them with four children, Ashley, Aaron, Amber and Aubrey and one daughter-in-love, Christian. They also have four grandchildren,  Zuri, Arington,  Nova and Kyro.  One adopted grandchild, Ethan, and one Goddaughter, Breanna.  All of whom they love dearly.

Gerrard and Beverly are members of Jonesville Baptist Church of the PAW in Savannah, GA under the leadership of Bishop James G. and Phyllis Rodges and have been since 2006. They have recently formed a fellowship and friendship with Apostle Daniel and Prophetess Cynthia Frances, overseers of New Wine Covenant Community in Lafayette, LA.
